Handbuilt stoneware clay vessel. This feminine shaped vessel is built inch by inch using the coil technique. The technique requires stacking layers of small coils which are then smoothed and fused together forming a solid surface. The white glaze on the surface gently highlights the hand carved henna inspired phoenix tattoo with flames.
