Tall Ridged Luminary

Wheel thrown cylinder using stoneware clay. Form was then altered and hand carved creating a unique luminary. The surface of the dark clay is covered with a shino glaze that glints in the sun, almost looking metallic. The bottom is left open to cover a tall candle, alternatively fairy lights can be added so that light spills out from the carved openings.
