Honeycomb Vase

Wheel thrown ceramic vase using stoneware clay. A white slip was applied over the light brown clay and a hexagon pattern was carved through the slip. The entire form was glazed with celadon green. The translucency of the glaze allows the iron flecks naturally found in the clay body to be seen.

Suitable for holding liquids.
