Basket Vase

This vase was hand thrown on a pottery wheel using stoneware clay. The shape was then altered with a hemp cloth pressed onto the surface to create texture. Iron oxide was applied to the surface and the interior is coated with a creamy white glaze with specks of iron. 

Suitable for holding liquids.
