Wheat Vase

Small wheel thrown vase using stoneware clay. The vase was altered into an oval and features the Mishima techniques of inlaying white contrasting slip into the hand carved design on the dark clay body.  It was then finished with a celadon green glaze and a rim dip of Tenmoku brown.

Suitable for holding liquids.
